Heat Pumps: Let us clean your filter
Modern heat pumps are currently being installed across New Zealand under various initiatives, some Government subsidised.
Air-conditioners (heat pumps) are energy efficient and economic to run.
To run efficiently, the filters require regular cleaning.
In most cases this can easily be undertaken yourself, and the instructions for cleaning your particular heat pump and the procedure to remove the 'fascia' (i.e. front panel) to access the filters of your unit is found in the operation manual that comes with your air conditioner.
Generally, to clean an air filter, simply vacuum away any dust on the filter or wash the air filter with natural detergent thinned with lukewarm water, then allow the filter to dry outside in a shaded area.
With Titanium Apatite Photocatalytic Air Purification Filters, both vacuum away any dust and then soak the filter in lukewarm water for 10 to 15 minutes before allowing to dry outside in a shaded area.
Then re~fit your filter per the operating manual instructions.
All filters require careful handling. No abrasive chemicals are required.
You should clean your filter at least every three months of continual use.
We are available to undertake an initial clean and tutor you in regular maintenance; or we are available to clean your filter for you as required.
